City of
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS
As part of the South Town Area Street Improvement
Project, PhotoCrete USA, recreated a sidewalk with
images significant to the oldest neighborhood in San
Antonio, TX.  Ann Wallace, an independent artist was
selected by the city to consult on artistic design
enhancement features for the various ongoing city
improvement projects. Ann chose to incorporate our
Photo-Engraved Process as part of those enhancement
initiatives.
" I am excited to see the
finished work next month as
this will be the first official use
of this process in the United
States.  I believe the impact
this process will have far
reaching implications for both
the design community as well
as the historic community, "

Ann stated.
The selected imagery is representative of
key communities and eras of the LaVaca
neighborhood.
